I've been spending my week back from england watching Lost with my mum, and now we're both hooked! basically it started out as a normal shopping day. We stopped off at a DVD store to by a film to watch, since we were bored. i kept seeing adverts for lost so i wanted to know why it was so popular so we bought all of season one. so that same night my mum and i sat down and watched it....we were still watching 4 hours later....and we're still going. although now my mum started work so we can't watch it as much (she won't let me watch it with out her, sigh) although we're only have way through season one which is mad because we've seen so many! my mum went out and bought season two and three.
Its just so odd! I thought it was going to be a crappy story about bunch of people get stuck on an island and watch everyone die one by one then only the big breasted woman and the manliest man survive. although I'm not that far in the series so it could become crappy for all i know....but i can't stop watching it! help me!

| Hello, all! haven't written for a while...
anyways, while i was in england, i saw the lord of the rings musical. I thought it was an odd idea at first, i mean, who the hell watches or reads the lord of the rings and thinks 'hmmm, lets have dance sequences and songs!' although there are songs in the book. but it was fantastic! my god, when Bilbo disappeared in the beginning it was so amazing! one minute he was there then he was gone! they're wasn't a puff of smoke or anything, i was gob-smacked for the rest of the musical after that. i loved the songs but their isn't a bloody soundtrack yet, i love the hobbits! their songs were so happy and...hobbity. the elves were a little strange though, they kept doing this weird tai-chi movement and Legolas had black hair! and it was soo bloody scary during one of the intervals (there were three intervals) when an orc jumped out and scarred the living day-lights out of me, he almost made my little sister cry. the stage was really cool. it rotated and different part went up and down, i think the woman who played Galadriel got the hem of her dress caught in it. and of coarse i had a good cry at the end, i always cried at the end of the movies so it was only expected. heres a link for the official website www.lotr.com it has clips of the musical. i haven't a clue why it did so badly in Toronto....
